On early models, the chassis serial number will be found on a plate attached to the left hand front door hinge post, visible when the door is open. |
On later models, the chassis serial number will be found on the top of the right-hand wing valance, visible when the bonnet is opened. |

On early models, the engine serial number is stamped on the right hand side of the cylinder block, at the rear. |
On late models, the engine serial number is stamped on an extension in front of the timing chain case. |

|
On manual gearbox models, the serial number is stamped on the underside of the gearbox housing. |
On automatic gearbox models, the serial number is on a white plate at the left hand side of the transmission unit. |

| |
|
The final drive serial number is stamped on the underside of the drive housing. |
